New York (Sept. 1, 2015) TASTE Williamsburg Greenpoint is pleased to bring neighborhood restaurants and live music together for its 6 Town Hall. Located on the beautiful Williamsburg waterfront, the tasting event will feature cuisine, beer, wine and cocktails from over 50 of North Brooklyn’s premier dining destinations as well as live music from Kings County Ramblers, Big Dog Run and Xavier Cardriche.

Neighborhood newcomers like The Williamsburg Hotel, Lilia, MP Taverna and the Camlin will serve their innovative dishes alongside veterans like Maison Premiere, Hotel Delmano, Bakeri and countless others.

"This year’s TASTE will feature an exciting new variety of food, music and community activities.” says Dana Krieger, Event Director. “We’re thrilled to have such prominent, beloved restaurants and bars be so supportive of an important cause for North Brooklyn. Be sure to also check out the highly anticipated newcomers to the neighborhood like Lilia and The Williamsburg Hotel.”

With over 50 talented exhibitors, the menu options at TASTE will be a creative cuisine lover’s dream. Recent additions to the final TASTE 2015 lineup include Dirck the Norseman, Greenpoint Brewery, Brooklyn Winery, Two Door Tavern and Salty Road. While many dishes will be a surprise, TASTE attendees can expect to enjoy the following:

Delaware and Hudson: Housesmoked Pennsylvania trout on a buckwheat pancake with horseradish cream and pickled fennel

The Heyward: Crispy braised pork belly with hoppin’ john and housemade “6 pepper” hot sauce

Oleanders: French Onion Dip au jus with horseradish and aged swiss

Pies ‘n’ Thighs: Mini Chicken Biscuit crispy chicken cutlet on a buttermilk biscuit slathered in hot sauce and honey butter

Zona Rosa Brooklyn: Tacos de Carnitas braised berkshire pork D.F. style with onions and cilantro

Candela Products has curated a fantastic arsenal of musical acts, who will perfectly complement the beautiful Brooklyn afternoon. The Kings County Ramblers will perform their blend of bluegrass, ragtime and improvisational jamming and Big Dog Run will entertain the crowd with their six piece folkrock outfit.The day will end with Brooklyn’s own singersongwriter, Xavier Cardriche, who will perform his popular folk songs.

Tickets start at $35 and all proceeds from TASTE Williamsburg Greenpoint will go towards the renovation of the Northside Town Hall Community and Cultural Center, located in the former Engine 212 Firehouse at 134 Wythe Avenue. A limited number of VIP Experience tickets are also available which include a VIP area with its own bar, exclusive “tastes” from select exhibitors and a VIP gift.
