On your mark, get set, Go to the New York International Auto Show.

What a great way to see the latest hot cars and race cars and able to attend a charity at the East Side House's 16th Annual Settlement Gala Preview of the 2015 New York International Auto Show held on April 2nd at the Jacob Javits Center.

We enjoyed the long cocktail reception of over three hours with open bar and delicious passed hors d'ouevres.

There were other 1,000 people of various industries to lend their support.  Some of the many notable attendees were news anchor Chuck Scarborough, Lisa Yom  CEO of Ivy Exec, LLC.,  fashion designer Joseph Altuzarra, and others.

It was great to preview the entire New York International Auto Show before it officially opened to the public the next day and had access to other parties on the floor. The Gala Preview included a special display of the hottest Porsche sports cars like 919 Hybrid, 918  Spyder,  Cayenne S-E Hybrid, and Panamera S-E Hybrid, supplied by Manhattan Motor Cars. There was a live auction of all-new 2015 Porsche Cayman GT4.

One had the chance to bid on neat items such as dining at Rao's,  16 guests at the private Mets Sky Box at Citi Field and others. The 500,000 funds raised will support East Side House's highly successful college preparation programs for residents of the South Bronx and surrounding communities.
