Masaharu Morimoto –the Iron Chef, James Beard Award winner, and Citigold Lounge Host – will lead the roster of world class culinary masterminds for Citi Taste of Tennis’ 18th year. Citi Taste of Tennis is an unparalleled Food and Tennis Experience produced by AYS that will take place at W New York on Thursday, August 24th . Good Morning America’s Lara Spencer will be hosting this year’s soiree, where NYC’s top chefs will showcase their culinary skills with some of world’s best tennis players serving the attendees. On Monday, August 1st, 2016 The World Premiere of Warner Bros. Pictures and Atlas Entertainment’s “Suicide Squad” took place at The Beacon Theatre in New York City. The film screening was an invitation only event as well as radio station winners and Midtown Comics guests. The after-party followed to an invitation only crowd at Skylight at Moynihan Station.

David Evans Shaw has been a leader of important efforts to protect and preserve both the land and sea globally, including his role as trustee of the National Parks Foundation. David is a much needed leader at this critical moment in history in pivotal roles, including chair of the Sargasso Sea Alliance, Treasurer of the American Association for the Advancement of Science, and co-chair of the Aspen Institute High Seas Initiative.

Sushi lovers in New York City to experience David Bouhadana’s new omakase destination, Sushi by Boū bringing the 12-piece, 30-minute, $50-omakase with his own signature style to a 4-seat venue at Gansevoort Market. Open seven days a week for lunch and dinner, Sushi by Boū features the same high-quality, quick-service format that Bouhadana’s fans know and love, enhanced with new experiences to offer what the sushi chef states is his “best omakase yet.”
He is recognized as one of the most innovative sushi chefs in New York City today. His story begins in Florida where, at the age of 18, he began waiting tables at Yokohama Sushi, a local spot in his hometown of Boca Raton. It wasn’t long before he found himself in the kitchen, and his unbridled passion for sushi was discovered. Bouhadana trained incessantly, working incredibly hard to hone his skill and learn everything he could about the restaurant industry. By the end of the year, he had assumed the position of head chef.
Knowing there was more for him to learn, Bouhadana then spent his early 20s studying and perfecting his craft in Japan. He worked admittedly-exhausting 14-hour days under a rigid Japanese sushi master in a restaurant outside of Osaka, where he also taught himself the language. When he returned to the U.S., his next destination was New York City. Bouhadana landed at some of the best sushi restaurants in Manhattan, such as Morimoto, and designed his own menu at Sushi Uo before moving on to open the highly successful Sushi Dojo in the East Village. There, Bouhadana began developing his own omakase experience, pairing expertly-prepared sushi with a lively atmosphere and aesthetic.
Since then, Bouhadana has made a name for himself by recreating Japan’s authentic fast-casual omakase concept with his own signature style in New York. He was named one of the top chefs in the country under 30 by Zagat, and recently won a New York Emmy Award for his web series Shokunin: An Eater Series hosted by David Bouhadana. Above all, Bouhadana’s passion and energy make him a force to be reckoned with. The Sushi by Boū omakase is both refined and creative, offering pieces such as toro with a touch of truffle salt and Three Amigos, combining ikura, quail egg and uni. Those who complete their omakase journey within their 30-minute reservation will be invited to continue sampling off-the-menu chef specials such as the Big Mac – a triple stack of toro, scallop and uni, and the Waguni Handroll, among other pieces. The concept also features a pop-up guest chef omakase station, offering customers access to two entirely different menus and experiences in one action-packed space.
Furthermore, Sushi by Boū has what is soon to be known as the city's best omakase-in-a-box. The signature omakase (12 pieces) will be expertly packaged in a custom box and available for take-out ($50 a box + $12 for an extra roll) and delivery exclusively via Caviar.

The White Cross Ball of New York is a black tie benefit on behalf of The Order Of Malta's international humanitarian work, with the generous support of Patron, Gloria, Princess of Thurn and Taxis. The majority of funds raised from this year's ball will go towards the work of Malteser International, the Order's relief arm, which is currently active in areas affected by the slew of recent natural disasters.
The evening encompasses dinner, a high-end auction, as well as post-dinner dancing and deserts, with music by celebrity DJ, Chelsea Leyland. The Order is active in 120 countries caring for people in need through its medical, social and humanitarian works. Across the world, the Order of Malta is dedicated to the preservation of human dignity and the care of all those in need, regardless of their race or religion.

New York was the first city in America to host Le Dîner en Blanc. The legendary French-inspired secret pop-up dinner party is among the most coveted events of the year, bringing together food lovers, cultural enthusiasts, and fashionistas. On August 22nd, 2017 over 5,000 people dressed in elegant head-to-toe white will descend upon a secret outdoor location in the city that is revealed at the last minute – last summer 45,000 people were on the wait list.
Members (those who are registered and have attended in previous years) of last year’s event will automatically receive an invitation to attend this year's event and will have the privilege of registering in Phase 1 set for Tuesday, August 8th. Please note that your guest from last year is not a member, so if he/she is not accompanying you this year, you have the option to sponsor him/her, or another friend or family member, so they will be invited during Phase 2 (Sponsored friends from Phase 1 Members).

Guests bring their own gourmet picnic, fine china and silverware, white table settings, white tables and chairs. Once all 5,000 guests are seated, at approximately 7 PM they will wave their white linen napkins in the air to signal the beginning of the dinner festivities. Visuals include all-white fashion ensembles , with a few masks, angel wings, Marie Antoinette wigs and white headpieces thrown in to spice things up; sumptuous food; and elaborate decorative table settings like caged white doves as a centerpiece, candelabras and flowers. There is entertainment and dancing once dinner concludes.
Dîner en Blanc will be hosted on a secret landmark outdoor public site in New York where diners can “see and be seen.” Groups of several hundred people first gather at 24 meeting points across the city and are guided by local volunteers, either on foot or by other organized means of transportation, to the location, which remains secret until minutes before the event is slated to start.
Launched in Paris in 1988 by François Pasquier and a handful of friends, Le Dîner en Blanc has become a worldwide epicurean phenomenon. Le Dîner en Blanc - Paris now attracts over 10,000 people each year. What was a “friends and word-of-mouth only” event has grown into an international sensation celebrated on six continents. While the technology behind the event may have changed over the years, the principles fuelling this magical event have not: guests continue to gather at a secret location for the sole purpose of sharing a gourmet meal with good friends in one of their city’s most beautiful public spaces. Dîner en Blanc International is responsible for developing this secret posh picnic in 79 cities in 28 countries around the world. Each event is headed by passionate local organizers who fell in love with the concept and wanted to bring it to their city, giving this rendezvous a local flair.

The question no longer stands, "What do fashion's influencers do on Oscar's night" because they all gathered at the Faviana Clubhouse to chat about the trends and who they can't wait to see on the red carpet! Influencers received custom-made flower crowns by Rachel Cho Floral Design.
These fashionista’s snacked on custom treats like decadent cake pops, gold dusted popcorn, and sipped on signature cocktails, wine and Champagne. These signature treats were created by Magnolia Bakery, Dylan’s Candy Bar, and 16 Handles. In the midst of all the snacking and photos, influencers were discussing all the new style trends that hit the red carpet. This included off the shoulder styles, midi length gowns, and an old Hollywood glamour gold color story.

The Posse Foundation held its 2016 Spring Gala, entitled “An Evening of Stars,” on Wednesday, May 25th at 6:30 PM at Cipriani Wall Street, 55 Wall Street. Founded in 1989, Posse identifies public high school students with extraordinary academic and leadership potential who may be overlooked by traditional college selection processes. Posse extends to these students the opportunity to pursue personal and academic excellence by placing them in supportive, multicultural teams—Posses—of 10 students. Posse partner colleges and universities award Posse Scholars four-year, full-tuition leadership scholarships. The Gala was Emceed by Harry Smith, Correspondent, NBC News with a special Performance by Trevor Noah, Comedian, Actor and Host, The Daily Show.
